FT-450D has Arrived!

After a month delay due to the strike in the port of Long Beach my first HF rig, a Yaesu FT-450D, has finally arrived! As long as the weather allows it I’ll be putting up the G5RV dipole [MFJ] [Info] this weekend. I’m still planning to take my General test sometime this month so I have a couple of weeks at least to listen and learn the radio. I have to admit I’ve been so interested in getting into HF that I’ve been spending a few hours each week at my EMA EOC listening with the HF rig we have there so I’m looking forward to having mine setup soon!
